It seems that DC Comics movie universe is expanding at a greater rate than expected with one of the latest projects announce being The Suicide Squad! Apparently Variety are reporting that director David Ayer is the man for the job with Dan Lin producing from a script by Justin Marks.
Looks like the DC cinematic universe is growing in leaps and bounds! Could all this be from the huge success of the Man of Steel movie, the upcoming Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice epic which stands just over the horizon or from the last brilliant Christopher Nolan Batman trilogy? Whatever the reason, get ready the Suicide Squad is coming.... very soon!WHO AND WHAT ARE THE SUICIDE SQUAD?
The original comic series focused on a team of supervillains who were given a second chance by the government for redemption. The catch is that the mission they are sent on will likely end up killing all of them.
