Ah yes, another tell tale sign of the amount of violence, destruction, language or even sex can be told by whatever rating a movie is given before it's release and no exception for Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice as the MPAA have finally given its rating stamp. Lets face it, we all knew we weren't going to get a R-Rated movie didn't we, though admittedly that would've been brilliant.
Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice has been rated PG-13 by the Motion Picture Association of America.
Directed by Zack Snyder and starring Ben Affleck as Batman, Henry Cavill as Superman, and Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, the superhero showdown earned its rating with “intense sequences of violence and action throughout, and some sensuality.”By releasing Dawn of Justice with a PG-13 rating rather than the more restrictive R, studio Warner Bros. is adhering to the same playbook as most modern superhero movies (including the Dark Knight trilogy and the Marvel cinematic universe) and contemporary blockbusters in general (The Hunger Games, Fast & Furious, Jurassic World).
