Looking Back At The 1966 Adam West Batman Batmobile

In the 1960's Adam West was cast as Batman in the TV show of the same name. Of course this Batman is a far cry from how we know the character today. The campy humour and comedic styled version of heroes and villains made this TV Show more than memorable. One thing that hasn't changed is Batman's need for a batmobile and here are some images to show you where it all started.

JESSE EISENBERG Is The Ultra-Villain, LEX LUTHOR!

JESSE EISENBERG, who shone in his performance of Mark Zuckerberg in The Social Network and was last seen opposite Morgan Freeman, Mark Ruffalo and Woody Harrelson in the fun crime caper, Now You See Me (2013) has been chosen as the new Lex Luthor. Though some argued that perhaps Bryan Cranston as well as a few other actors should take the role, it was Eisenberg who eventually was cast.

With Eisenberg as Lex Luthor, it further re-iterates the immense changes happening within the DC cinematic universe and how these movies are being punted to a new and younger generation. They've totally shaken things up and rumours are doing the rounds that Eisenberg will play a curly blonde-haired Luthor which goes against the bald headed villain we've seen in comic books, cartoons and movies.

NEW Images Of BEN AFFLECK As BATMAN! Also The BATMOBILE!

Barely a moment after Benn Affleck was named Batman for the upcoming Batman Vs Superman: Dawn of Justice (2016), we receive new images of Affleck as Batman as well as a fleeting glimpse of the new Batmobile.

The Uber-Gorgeous GAL GADOT Is WONDER WOMAN!

BEN AFFLECK Is The New BATMAN!

BEN AFFLECK has been announced as the new Batman in the upcoming sequel to Man of Steel (2013).

Affleck takes over the role from Christian Bale who portrayed Bruce Wayne / Batman in the hugely successful Christopher Nolan trilogy.

The news was met with anger and upset over the Affleck choice amongst fanboys around the world, citing that Affleck was not the best choice and that there are far better actors suited for the role.

Affleck, you will remember has played a superhero before, namely Marvel's Daredevil, though the movie was not regarded as s success at all but starred Affleck's future wife, Jennifer Garner who starred as his love interest in the form of Elektra.

Affleck's career has been a bag of mixed reviews with hits and misses and we got to see him as the villain in Runner Runner (2013) and as a CIA agent rescuing Americans in Iran in Argo which he also directed to critical acclaim.

And What About SUPERGIRL OF STEEL?

After waiting 8 long years for a Superman movie since the last Bryan Singer attempt with Superman Returns, fans of Supergirl may have to wait much longer to see their hero in motion. It's been a very long time since a Supergirl appeared in theatres, though we did get to see a version of her at least on Smallville.

Here are a few fan made pictures that help us bridge the gap of what a present day Supergirl may look like.

HOW MAN OF STEEL SHOULD'VE ENDED

Well guys, what can I say except that there are many different ways we could look at any movie but one as big as Man of Steel is definitely going to attract more attention than most. Much can be said however for some of the more interesting perspectives and views and one such take is to be found in:

EVERYTHING WRONG WITH MAN OF STEEL

CINEMA SINS have taken the time to analyse every scene of Man of Steel and sadly have found 8 minutes worth of problems with our favourite hero. Have a look at the video below and see if you agree with their expert findings, if anything, they make for interesting and debatable arguments.

MAN OF STEEL (2013) ... A Superman Like No Other!

It's been eight years since we last saw a Superman on our screens, courtesy of Bryan Singer, known for his efforts regarding the X-Men franchise, including the latest X-Men: Days of Future Past, we finally got an updated version thanks to Christopher Nolan, David Goyer and Zack Snyder. What we got was a darker version like none we had seen before.
